What happened this month at Epitech: Debriefe ta Piscine 🏊‍♂️

Dear alumni, here's a question for you:
When you think back on your Epitech years, what comes to mind? Yes, the Piscine, of course! 🌊

This mythical rite of passage, where armbands are exchanged for lines of code, has left its mark on generations of students. Immersed in this technical and human immersion, each of them learned to swim in the sometimes tumultuous waters of tech, through sleepless nights, (far too) tightly-packed coffees and mutual aid between comrades.

La Piscine Epitech: what doesn't kill you... makes you stronger 💧

La Piscine is much more than a series of exercises or an introduction to code. It's a real adventure where intensity, resilience and solidarity intertwine. For several weeks, Tek1 students plunge into a frantic rhythm: debugging, coding, failing, starting over, collaborating.

But beyond technical skills, what you know better than anyone, dear alumni, is that La Piscine forges lasting memories. It pushes people to go beyond their limits, strengthens friendships (sometimes for life) and, above all, prepares them to face tomorrow's challenges with audacity.

Débriefe ta Piscine: the event that builds bridges

This year, to celebrate the end of this first major challenge, we organized our very first Débriefe ta Piscine event on November 6.

A nationwide event that thrilled campuses from Lille to Montpellier, via Strasbourg, Lyon, Marseille and many others. On the program? Convivial get-togethers between alumni and students just out of the water. All over a drink, or even a raclette for those with a sweet tooth. The aim was simple: to share experiences, inspire new generations and exchange ideas in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

An evening of sharing

At the KB in Paris, some fifty alumni answered the call. You recounted your memories of Piscine and, above all, offered invaluable advice to Tek1 students.

These moments of exchange were a reminder of just how strong our community is. Thanks to your generosity and kindness, our young talents found answers to their questions, but also a source of motivation to continue their adventure at Epitech. 🙌

Because at Epitech, each generation inspires the next

We'd like to say a huge THANK YOU. Thanks to you, this first edition of Débriefe ta Piscine was a success. You're living proof that at Epitech, you're never really alone: each generation of alumni is there to support and guide the next.
