🔁The Epitech Alumni Association: Back, Present and Future

🔙 Before : A first adventure full of momentum

Created in 2014 on the initiative of Philippe Chiu, the Epitech Alumni Association was born of the desire to unite graduates around common projects and a supportive network. The first election of the board saw the victory of the "Alumni Vision" team, headed by Romain Henri (class of 2007) as president, accompanied by Niels Freier (2011) as vice-president, Éric Gaudin (2003) as general secretary, and Yohann Parisien (2007) as treasurer.

Other alumni have joined the office to drive projects and promote the community:

• Events: Nassim Ghandour (2006)

• Communication: Philippe Sentenac (2007)

• Coordination: Raphaël Wach (2008)

Launching such an association required a strong commitment, a lot ofenergy and real availability on the part of the alumni involved. And yet, the association's first steps were as promising as they were enthusiastic. Very quickly, regular and significant projects were born:

• Tek à Rade: informal get-togethers every first Tuesday of the month in a bar, to exchange, network and share ideas with old-timers.

• MonthlyAperitivo: evenings designed for alumni looking for opportunities, to facilitate professional exchanges and mutual support.

• Tech Advice: open discussions between alumni and students on topical technological issues, with a view to sharing and passing on knowledge.

• And of course, the Christmas party, which has become an emblematic and convivial event for the alumni network.

This first adventure was a real success. Unfortunately, it was put on hold from 2020 onwards, largely due to the health crisis, which suspended the dynamics underway.

🔁 Now : A new impetus

Five years on, Epitech is relaunching the alumni association with renewed energy.
The call for candidates launched a month ago was very well received. Thank you to all those who expressed their desire to get involved and revive this wonderful community!

Today, the association is entering a new phase:
📅 F rom May 30 to June 9, 2025, alumni are invited to vote to elect three new positions of responsibility:

• President

• Vice-president

• General secretary

The position of treasurer will be held by a representative of Epitech.
Those elected will then be able to form their own team and define the organization of the office.

• Arnaud Nommay - Alumni EPITECH Toulouse, class of 2022. iOS developer at Electra.
• Lucas Guichard EPITECH alumni, class of 2024. Head of DataLab - AI, Data & Digital at the French Presidency.

For the position of General Secretary :

• Florence Hu - Alumni EPITECH Paris - Promo 2021. President of Freyja Technologie.
• Cyprien Andres - Alumni EPITECH - Promo 2020. Infra / DevOps Manager at Easy Bourse

On June 10, 2025, the election results will be announced during a festive moment at Le Mazette. This will mark the start of a new era, driven by alumni who are committed and determined to make the community shine.
